Cabinet expansion: Manohar Parrikar gets Defence
Three Ministers of State with (Independent Charge) and 14 Ministers of State were also inducted, taking the total number of new inductees to 21. At the Durbar Hall of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, the oath taking ceremony was administered by President Pranab Mukherjee.
The 21 new ministers join the 45 other ministers in the ministry to take the strength of Modi government to 66.
This is the first expansion since Modi took oath as the PM on May 16.
