Centre to erect 25667 new houses, says Venkaiah Naidu

New Delhi, July 6 (IBNS): Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday said that that his ministry will build 25667 new houses and will redevelop certain places in the national capital.

"7 General Pool Residential Accommodation(GPRA) colonies in Delhi Sarojini Nagar,Netaji Nagar, Nauroji Nagar,Kasturba Nagar,Thyagraj Nagar. Srinivaspuri and Mohammadpur will be redeveloped. 25667 new houses will be built at a cost of 32835 Crs in 29.18 lakh sqm area," the minister tweeted.

"NBCC & CPWD will redevelop these colonies at no cost to the government. good news to central government employees," Naidu added.
