Mumbai, Dec 20 (IBNS): Rahul Mukerjea, the son of former media baron Peter Mukerjea, one of the key accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, defended his father on Tuesday, according to media reports.

He claimed that charges against his father should not be framed but dropped, the media reported.

Peter Mukerjea and his wife Indrani were arrested for the murder of Sheena Bora, Indrani's daughter from her earlier marriage.

Rahul is Peter Mukerjea's son from an earlier marriage.

Allegedly, Sheena was murdered because of her relationship with Rahul.

According to media reports, Rahul Mukerjea has said that his father 'clearly wasn't involved'.
