Chhattisgarh: Seven maoists killed in encounter with security forces
Raipur, July 19 (IBNS): At least seven maoists, including three women, have been killed in an encounter with the security forces in Chattisgarh's Bijapur district, media reports said.
The incident took place at 6 am in the forest near Timinar and Pusnar villages, along the border of Bijapur and Dantewada districts.
The operation was launched by the security forces.
When the security forces were cordoning off the forest, an exchange of fire started between the two sides.
