Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Patel shot dead by terrorists in Kashmir

Srinagar, Apr 25 (IBNS): Suspected terrorists shot dead Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Patel in south Kashmir's  Rajpora area on Wednesday, reports said.

He was reportedly traveling in his car when he was attacked by terrorists.

His personal security members were also injured in the attack.

The attackers fled from the spot.

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti mourned the death of the Congress leader.

She called the attack on the Congress leader as 'cowardly'.

"Heartfelt condolences to the family of senior Congress leader, G. N. Patel who was killed by militants today in Rajpora. Such cowardly acts achieve nothing but leave one more family devastated," she tweeted.
