Congress mourns former Nepal Prime Minister Sushil Koirala's death

New Delhi, Feb 9 (IBNS): The Indian National Congress on Tuesday mourned the death of former Nepal Prime Minister Sushil Koirala.

The party tweeted: "Our heartfelt condolences to the people of Nepal on the passing away of former PM Shri Sushil Koirala."

Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi also condoled the death of the Nepali leader.

Her party tweeted: "Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi has condoled the passing away of former Nepal PM, Shri Sushil Koirala."

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi mourned Koirala's death and tweeted: "My heartfelt condolences to the people of Nepal on the passing away of former PM & Nepali Congress President Shri Sushil Koiralaji."

"A committed democrat Sushil Koiralaji had a long association with India. His loss will be deeply mourned," he said.

Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Koirala, 76, passed away on Tuesday.
