Congress releases third list of candidates for Lok Sabha polls

New Delhi, Mar 16 (IBNS): The Congress has released their third list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, which is scheduled to be held between Apr 11 and May 19.

The third list consists of candidates from Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh.

Congress' woman leader Sushmita Dev will fight the polls from Silchar constituency of Assam while Gaurav Gogoi has been fielded in Assam's Kaliabor seat.

The grand old party has fielded seven candidates coming from backward communities across the six states touched upon in the latest candidate list.

The counting of polls will take place on May 23.

Kaliabor: Gaurav Gogoi

Jorhat: Sushanta Borgohain

Dibrugarh: Paban Singh Ghatowar

Meghalaya:
