Congress targets Modi government over its silence on Rafale deal
New Delhi, Feb 26 (IBNS): The Congress on Monday once again targeted the Narendra Modi government over its silence on the controversial Rafale deal in which the government has been alleged to buying jets at a higher prices from a known industrialist.
In a tweet, Congress has cleared that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is its biggest target over the alleged Rafale scam.
The tweet reads, "Today marks an auspicious 101 days since the Modi Govt promised to come clean on the Rafale Deal. What are you waiting for Mr. PM? #MaunModi."

Congress President Rahul Gandhi had alleged to the purchase of Rafale jets by the BJP-led central government at a higher cost than the one was fixed by the Congress during its regim.
He has also accused the government of purchasing the jets from an industrialist who is a friend of the PM.
Though the Congress President had asked the government to furnish details of the Rafale deal, Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman refused.
Sitharaman cited the deal as a "classified document" which cannot be brought into the public domain.
Rahul also took on the government for once promising to furnish details only to take a U-turn later.
