New Delhi/UNI: Delhi Police Crime Branch questioned gangster Sunil alias Tillu Tajpuia in Mandoli jail on Wednesday in connection with the murder of another gangster Jitender Maan alias Gogi who was killed inside Rohini courtroom on Friday, police said on Thursday.

Police also sought production remand of Tillu after he emerged as the main conspirator in this case, sources said.

On the basis of CCTV footage, police arrested two accused - Umang and Vinay Yadav, who helped both the attackers, from Haiderpur.

During the interrogation, both said Tillu was the main conspirator in the case and had allegedly planned the murder from Mandoli jail following which police has taken his custody to unfold the entire conspiracy.

Police sources said that the Crime Branch officials checked previous records of Jagdeep alias Jagga and Rahul Tyagi alias Nitin Jatav, who killed Gogi inside Rohini courtroom, and were in turn killed by a police team on the spot.

The police are looking for another accused who came outside of the court, who has been seen in the CCTV camera.

Both Umang and Vinay admitted during the interrogation that Tillu had provided the weapons used in the murder.

A team went to Mandoli jail on Wednesday to search Tillu’s cell to recover the mobile, sources said.

It is not confirmed whether the phone was recovered or not, sources added.
