Delhi Police crime branch rescues 333 children so far in the year
New Delhi, Jul 8 (UNI ) The Anti-Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) of Delhi Police has rescued 333 children since the beginning of this year till date, police said on Monday.
According to police, these children have been rescued from places like Bus Stands, Railway Stations and other areas in the national capital.
Other than rescuing these children, the AHTU has recovered 57 people, who were either kidnapped, abducted or had gone missing, which were related to the cases registered in Delhi.
Fourteen out of them are minors and 37 are females, the police said.
Recently, the AHTU has recovered 15 persons, who had been reported missing or kidnapped in Delhi, since a month.
