Delhi shivers at minus 4.2 deg C, season's coldest

New Delhi/UNI: Delhi on Friday recorded season's coldest day with the mercury dropping to 4.2 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.

Cold conditions intensified in the national capital with the further drop in the mercury.

The relative humidity till 0830 hrs pegged at 86 per cent.

Cold conditions are likely to continue throughout the day and the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 15 degrees C, weather office said.

The maximum temperature on Thursday settled at 13.4 degrees C, seven notches below the normal.
