On Sunday, he had addressed the "Ganatantra Bachao (save the republic) rally" in South Dinajpur district through the phone.
The West Bengal government on Sunday reportedly denied permission to Yogi Adityanath to land his chopper in the state.
Adityanath was scheduled to address two rallies in north Bengal-one at Raiganj and Balurghat.
The UP CM's office stated that the permission was denied without any prior notice.
