Discussions going on to simplify India-China border issues: Army Chief Naravane
Kannur/UNI: Chief of the Army Staff General Manoj Mukund Naravane on Saturday said 'discussions' were going on to simplify the India-China border issues.
General Navarane visited Kannur to review the Passing out Parade (PoP) of Indian Naval Academy (INA) cadets at Ezhimala near here.
Talking to news persons after the PoP, Gen Naravane said the Indian Forces are ready to face any challenge from other countries.
The Army Chief also said threats from terrorist forces from other countries and the challenges from drug mafias from inside the country were being faced by the Indian Forces simultaneously.
'The Indian forces are capable enough to nullify these threats and challenges,' he said.
The INA has high standard of infrastructure for providing training to the trainees of the Naval and Coast Guard, he added.
INA Commandant Vice Admiral M A Hampiholi, Deputy Commandant Rear Admiral Tarun Sobti and INA Principal K S Noor also attended the PoP.
