Flights of fancy: Lalu Prasad's son and Bihar health minister rides BMW car, bike worth Rs 15 lakh

Patna, Jan 2 (TheBiharPost/IBNS): RJD chief Lalu Prasad’s eldest son Tej Paratp Yadav appears to love riding expensive vehicles.

As per his own declaration, Tej Paratp owns a BMW car worth Rs 29 lakh (Rs 2.9 million) and a bike worth Rs 15 lakh (Rs 1.5 million).


Apart from this, he owns land plots worth Rs 1.24 crore (Rs 12 million), has shares worth Rs 25 lakh (Rs 2.5 million) and gold jewelries worth Rs 262,000.

Tej Pratap is a health minister in the Nitish Kumar government.

In contrast, his younger brother and deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav doesn’t own any car but has made huge investments in real estate.

As per his declaration, Tejashwi has land plots in various parts of the Patna and has also invested over Rs 20 lakh (Rs 2 million) in his family company ‘LaRa and sons’. ‘LaRa’ stands for Lalu Praasd and Rabri Devi.

He has also taken a loan of Rs 28.66 (Rs2.8 million) from banks.
