Four Jehadis nabbed in Assam

Guwahati, May 13 (IBNS): Security forces on Thursday apprehended four Jehadis from Assam's Bongaigaon district, officials said on Friday.
According to the reports, based on intelligence input, police and army launched operation at Abhayapuri area in the lower Assam district and nabbed the Jehadis belonging to Muslim Tiger Force of Assam (MTFA).
 
A top army official said that the nabbed Jehadis were involved in several extortion and kidnapping cases in lower Assam.
 
The nabbed Jehadis were identified as Ismail Ali, Mohidul Islam, Mouizinur Ahmed and Saiyyuddin Islam and security personnel recovered a 7.65 mm pistol with magazine, two country made pistol, three mobile phone handsets in possession from them.
 
Security forces apprehended 34 Jehadis and seized huge cache of arms and ammunition in the state in past six months.
