Government to take final call on calling special session to pass GST Bill
In a bid to reach out to the Congress to break the stalemate Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu has met senior Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge at his residence. Naidu will then meet Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
Reports said the government will hold consultations with various political parties on the GST Bill and only after all parties fall in line to let the Bill a safe passage, the government will take a final call.
The special session may be called from August 31 to September 4 if everything goes right, reports said.
