Grenade used in Amritsar was made in Pakistan: Amarinder Singh

Chandigarh, Nov 21 (IBNS): Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Wednesday said the grenade which was used during the recent blast in Amritsar city was made in Pakistan.

Speaking to the media, Singh said: "The grenade used in Amritsar was made in Pakistan."

"This is a pure case of terrorism," he said.

He said the Amritsar incident had no 'communal' angle to it.

"There is no communal angle to it," he said.

He said one of the accused in the case has been arrested.

A grenade attack at Nirankari Bhawan during a religious ceremony in Amritsar's Adhiwala village on Sunday left at least three people killed.
