HAL Tejas inducted in IAF squadron
Tejas, also known as Light Combat Aircraft (LCA), is the world's smallest and lightest supersonic fighter plane.
It is currently stationed in Bengaluru as part of the first Tejas squadron, 'Flying Daggers'.
While presently the IAF has only two LCA's, six more are expected to be added by the end of the present financial year.
The squadron is also expected to reach full strength by 2020.
Group Captain M Rangachari will be first Commanding Officer of the Flying Daggers, TOI reported.
