New Delhi: Farmers once again took to protest as many of them from Haryana blocked the national highway to Delhi in Kurukshetra on Monday over the demand for Minimum Support Price (MSP) for sunflower seeds by the Haryana government.

Farmers blocked the road with their tractors after a mahapanchayat in Pipli village in the region, trashing the relief announced by the Chief Minister.

Traffic has been diverted on the Delhi-Chandigarh route, said reports.
Farm leaders from Haryana, Punjab, UP and other neighboring states had gathered at the Pipli grain market for the 'MSP Dilao, Kisan Bachao' mahapanchayat to press their demand, reported NDTV.
