Himachal Pradesh: 30 incidents of fire reported during Diwali celebration
Shimla, Oct 28 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh reported 30 incidents of fire in this Diwali as six major and four medium and 20 small fire broke out till Monday morning, fire officer confirmed.
Chief Fire Officer J C Sharma said that Diwali fire not reported any loss of lives but Rs , 51, 79, 500 lose of property reported in the total 30 fire incident occurred between Oct 27 and 28. Fire department claimed that property worth Rs 8.95 Cr was saved by in time action of fire staff. About 800 fire fighters participated in fire combating mega operation as the department has cancelled the Diwali and outstation lives of employees between Oct 23 and 28, he informed.
Major house fire occurred at Cherry village, 10 km from Dharmshala, at 0123 hrs on Monday rendered loss of Rs 25 lakh and property worth Rs 45 lakh were saved.
Major house fire broke out at Dharmana village of Mandi district at 2352 hrs last night rendering loss of Rs 10 lakh and property worth Rs 29 lakh saved.
House fire broke out at Moginand village seven km near Kalaambh fire post in Sirmaur district 0441 hrs today, rendering loss of Rs 6 lakh in the mishap and property worth Rs 20 lakh saved after controlling the fire.
Major fire broke out in the shop at Badoh village, about one kim away from Naina Devi fire post in Bilaspur distirct, at 1916 hrs yesterday gutting property worth Rs three lakh and property of Rs 10 lakh was saved after controlling the fire.
Another Major house and cowshed fire broke out at Damlera 18 km from Ghumarwani fire post in Bilaspur district at 1845 hrs yesterday gutting property worth Rs two lakh in the mishap and in time action saved valable worth Rs 20 lakh.
Fire broke out at Katha Bhatti in a Shed at Kawarla 20 km away from Fire post Arki in district Solan at 1956 hrs yesterday rendering loss of RS 1.50 Lac and property worth Rs 50 lakh was saved.
In four medium fire mishap Rs 80,000 property gutted in house fire at Phagrot village in Kullu district, Rs 50,000 property gutted in cowshed fire at Ocha vilalge under Palampur in Kangra district. Rs 80,000 property lost in Grass fire and house fire broke out at Samoli village under Rohru subdivision of Shimla and house fire at village Gheghari in Palampur of Kangra, respectively.
Small house fire incidents also reported at MainBazar Jasoor under Nurpur subdivision of Kangra, Badogh village of Solan, Tank Road-Solan, Hay stage fire Supkher in Pountsahib of Sirmaur and Koomi in Mandi district, Grass fire at Bhattakufar in Chhota Shi mla , Cow shed fire in Chalahrag village of Jogindernagar in Mandi, House fire at Baran village of Manali in Kulu, Hay stage fire in Shakoh village of Dharmshala, Grass fire in Phanditbehar and Bhadhah village in Kulu district and Deked in Jubbal of Shimla, Forest fire in Kawara village of Kumarsen, Chungikhana of Mall road shimla, Bandrol and Tikara Bawari villages of Kullu.
LPG fire broke out at Harsardehari village Jawali in Kangra, Shed fire Jawalamukh Gate-1 in Kangra, Tree and orchard fire in Kalpa in Kinnuar and D C Colony in Kulu.
Around ten Fire mishap were also occurred in the state between intervening night of Oct 26 and 27 before the Diwali.
Indira Gandhi Medical College Senior Superintendent Dr. Janak Rak said that eight cases were registered at IGMC with burn injuries.
