Himachal Pradesh: Student arrested for offensive post on Pulwama attack

Shimla, Feb 17 (UNI/IBNS) Two days after Pulwama terror attack on CRPF convoy, Himachal Pradesh police on Saturday nabbed a private university student in connection with social media posts regarding this attack. 

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Badi, N K Thakur confirmed that the arrested student belonged to Chitkara University Barotiwala.

He, reportedly shared a post on social media soon after attack.

The post shared after the incident disclosed that the accused already had advance information about this terror attack.

He also mentioned in the post 'Khuda Aap ko Janaat Bakshai'(God blessed you with abode), ASP Thakur added.

Thakur said, "Now, the police is probing about the post and interrogating the youth soon after message went viral in the social media."

Barotiwala is about 100 km from the capital town located on Himachal Pradesh and Haryana borders.
