Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla gets one year extension
New Delhi/UNI: Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla was given an extension of a year on Friday, and an order was issued by the Union Government extending his tenure.
A 1984-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Assam-Meghalaya cadre, was appointed as the Home Secretary in August 2019.
Bhalla's tenure has been extended for a year till Aug 22, 2023.
