IGP Kashmir visits Hazratbal shrine, prays for peace and prosperity

Srinagar/UNI: Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir range, Vijay Kumar on Sunday paid obeisance at the shrine of Asar-e-Sharief, Hazratbal, which houses the Holy Relic of Prophet Muhammad on the bank of frozen Dal Lake.

Mr Kumar prayed for peace and prosperity of the people of Union Territory (UT) Jammu and Kashmir in the shrine, where some devotees were also present.
The IGP entered the shrine without security and remained inside for some time.
