India condemns terrorist attack in Iran

New Delhi, Sept 23 (IBNS): India on Sunday condemned the terrorist attack in the Iranian city of Ahwaz which left at least 29 people killed.

Condemning the attack, the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement: "India strongly condemns the dastardly terrorist attack in the city of Ahwaz, Iran on 22 September."

"We convey our heartfelt condolences to the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran and families of the victims, and wish speedy recovery to those injured," read the statement.

At least 29 people were killed as terrorists targeted a military parade in the Iranian city on Saturday.

The incident left 50 others injured.
