India will not tolerate intolerance: Modi tells in UK

London, Nov 12 (IBNS): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said his government will not tolerate intolerance in any part of India.

"India will not tolerate intolerance," Modi told reporters while addressing a joint press conference with UK PM David Cameron.

Promising strict actions, Modi said: "We are taking each incident occurring in any part of our country very seriously."

UK PM David Cameron said he was pleased to welcome Modi to his nation.

In India, protesting against rising 'intolerance' several filmmakers, writers and others have returned their awards in recent times.
