Imphal, Mar 3 (IBNS/Just Earth News) Human Rights activist Irom Sharmila Chanu was arrested yet again by Manipur Police on Wednesday after she resumed her hunger strike on Monday, according to reports.

Demanding annulment of Armed Forces Special Power Act, Sharmila started her hunger strike in 2000 after 10 civilians were allegedly gunned down by central security forces.

She was arrested earlier after she tried to kill herself, but was acquitted by a court on Monday, post which she began her hunger strike at Imphal's BT Park.
