Israel tweets special message with Sholay song to cherish Narendra Modi- Benjamin Netanyahu's friendship on International Freindship Day

New Delhi, Aug 4 (IBNS): A day when the world is celebrating International Freindship Day, the Embassy of Israel on Sunday greeted India with a special post to cherish the strong bond shared between the two nations.

The Israel Embassy in India tweeted, " Happy #FriendshipDay2019 India! May our ever strengthening friendship & #growingpartnership touch greater heights.
ये दोस्ती हम नहीं तोड़ेंगे."

Along with the tweet, the embassy also shared a small video where several images of Modi and Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu's earlier meetings could be seen.

Interestingly, the song played in the background of the video is the ageold Bollywood classic from Sholay which cherishes the bauty of freindship- ‘Yeh dosti hum nahi todenge'.

Modi also thanked Israel for the wish.

The PM worte the tweet in Hebrew language.
