Jammu and Kashmir: Blast in Sopore leaves four dead

At least four persons died after a blast occurred in north Kashmir’s Sopore region on Monday.

Officials told Greater Kashmir that a mysterious blast took place at Shair Colony Sopore in which four persons received critical injuries and were subsequently shifted to a nearby hospital where doctors declared three of them dead.

Another victim, who was critically injured in the blast, was referred to SKIMS Soura.

He later died on his way to the hospital.

Police have registered a case in connection with the incident.

An investigation is currently ongoing.
