Jammu and Kashmir: LeT module busted, one arrested

Jammu:  The police on Monday busted a module of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and arrested one of its associates with an improvised explosive device in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Additional Director General of Police Mukesh Singh said the arrest was made during a cordon and search operation by the police, Army and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Kastigarh area.

He said the IED and other incriminating material was recovered from the house of Irshad Ahmed who was arrested.

A module run by LeT terrorist Mohammad Amin alias Khubaib operating from Pakistan was recently busted by the police in Udhampur.
