Srinagar/UNI: A two-storey building of Police Training School (PTS) Manigam was completely destroyed in a massive fire last night in central Kashmir district of Ganderbal.

Official sources said that fire broke out in an Estates building at PTS Manigam late last night. “Fire tenders were rushed to douse off the leaping flames, clearly visible from a distance,” they said.

However, they said before the fire was brought under control, it engulfed the entire building.

“The two-storey building has been completely destroyed by the massive fire,” the sources said.

No one was injured in the incident, they said, adding the cause of the fire was not immediately known.

“A case has been registered and investigation has been initiated to ascertain the cause of the fire,” they added.
