This was the third attack in a single day as earlier in the evening terrorists opened fire on an army vehicle in Butapathri injuring five soldiers, said reports.
The second attack came hours after a labourer was shot at and injured in Jammu and Kashmir's Ganderbal district earlier in the day.
The injured man was later identified as Pritam Singh, who is a resident of Uttar Pradesh. Upon receiving the information, security personnel reached the area. This was the third attack on non-local labourers in Kashmir in the past week.
On October 20, a doctor and six construction workers were killed during a terrorist attack at a tunnel construction site on the Srinagar-Leh national highway in the Ganderbal district.
Thursday's terror strikes took place amid the newly-elected Jammu and Kashmir chief minister, Omar Abdullah's, meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Abdullah handed him a resolution seeking early restoration of statehood to the union territory.
Earlier in the day, Abdullah met Union defence minister Rajnath Singh and Union minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari.
