New Delhi, Nov 28 (IBNS): Former Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Saturday slammed former party leaders Shanti Bhushan and Prashant Bhushan opposed the Delhi government's anti-corruption Jan Lokpal Bill.

"Who has a vested interest in protecting Central Govt employees in matters of corruption? Has Mr Bhushan become BJP's Spokesperson now?" the AAP tweeted.

"All clauses being questioned now were part of the Lokpal Bill presented in 2014 by the 49-day Govt. Mr Bhushan had cheered on that time," it said.

The Delhi Cabinet this month cleared the Jan Lokpal Bill.

Calling the bill as a '#AAPKaJokePal', Prashant Bhushan tweeted: "#AapJokepalBill with govt appt & controlled Lokpal w/o investigative agency is a shocking betrayal of the Anticorruption movement & people!"

He said: "By providing that Delhi Lokpal will investigate corruption of Central govt in #AapJokepalBill AK has ensured that LG will not allow&it fails."
