Jayalalithaa will need few more days rest in hospital: AIADMK

Chennai, Sept 25 (IBNS): Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, who is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital, resumed normal diet on Sunday, her party AIADMK said.

"Puratchi Thalaivi Amma was admitted with fever and dehydration, Amma has assumed to normal diet," the AIADMK tweeted quoting Apollo Hospital.

The party rejected reports that she will be taken abroad for treatment.

"As required, tests are being conducted. Rumours that Amma will be taken to abroad for treatment is false," the party said quoting the hospital.

"Puratchi Thalaivi Amma will be taking few more days rest in hospital & will be discharged on some other day," it said.
