New Delhi/IBNS: On a day when Jyotiraditya Scindia resigned from the Congress amid speculations that he might be joining the ruling party, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is currently at the BJP headquarters on Tuesday.

Modi is reportedly attending a key BJP meet.

Scindia is likely to join the BJP on Tuesday itself, media reports said.

As many as 21 Congress MLAs on Tuesday resigned from Madhya Pradesh Assembly leading to an unprecedented political crisis in the state where Congress enjoys a wafer-thin majority. Following the move, the CM Kamal Nath-led government in MP is staring at a collapse.

The development comes against the backdrop of Jyotiraditya Scindia resigning for Congress party membership on Tuesday morning and meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi.

As per sources, these 21 MLAs are slated to join Bharatiya Janata Party, reports UNI.

The 21 MLAs include six ministers--Tulsi Silawat, Govind Singh Rajput, Dr Prabhuram Choudhry, Imarti Devi, Pradyumna Singh Tomar and Mahendra Singh Sisodia.

Other MLAs are Hardeep Singh Dang, Rajyavardhan Singh, Brajendra Singh Yadav, Jaspal Jajji, Suresh Dhakad, Jaswant Jatav, Santram Sironia, Munnalal Goyal, Ranveer Singh Jatav, OPS Bhadoria, Kamlesh Jatav, Giriraj Dandotiya, Raghuraj Kansana, Aidalsingh Kansana, Biasahulal Singh.
