Madurai, Feb 21 (IBNS) : Actor Kamal Haasan, who has announced to take a plunge in politics, will unveil his party's name and flag at a public meeting in Tamil Nadu’s Madurai on Wednesday evening.

“I will start my rally tomorrow from Rameswaram. Announcements regarding the party flag and the ideology would be unveiled in Madurai. All are invited,”  the superstar  said on Tuesday.

Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) founder Arvind Kejriwal will attend the party’s launch. Kejriwal had met Haasan in September last year.

According to media reports, the veteran actor arrived in his native Ramanathapuram district in southern Tamil Nadu on Tuesday.

He started his day on Wednesday by visiting late president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s house in Rameswaram.

Reports said Haasan  will move on to pay respects at Kalam’s memorial, visit his hometown Paramakudi and end his day-long road show in Madurai, where he will address a public meeting.
