Karnataka: COVID-19 patient jumps off Victoria Hospital building

Bengaluru/UNI: A 50-year-old Covid-19 patient committed suicide by jumping from the top floor of the Victoria Hospital here on Monday.

According to official sources, the patient, who had got admitted to the hospital after testing positive for the novel Coronavirus took the extreme step this morning.

The deceased was diagnosed for having contracted the Coronavirus when he had gone to the doctor, complaining of respiratory-related problem.

It may be recalled that Karnataka has registered over 503 COVID-19 cases across the state and so far as many as 182 patients have been cured and discharged from the hospital, while 19 others have succumbed to the disease.
