Kashmir: Security forces launch CASO in Shopian
Srinagar/UNI: Security forces on Saturday launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in south Kashmir district of Shopian, official sources said.
They said on a tip-off troops of Rashtriya Rifles (RR), CRPF and Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police launched a joint CASO at village Chitragam in Shopian.
After sealing all exit points, security forces are conducting house-to-house searches, they said, adding that so far no contact has been established with the militants.
Details are awaited, they said.
