KCR desperate as saffron party is rising: Telangana BJP
Hyderabad/UNI: Flaying allegations made by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government at the Centre, state BJP spokesperson NV Subhash Monday said KCR is desperate after sensing BJP's graph is continuously rising in Telangana.
Addressing a two-hour press conference at the Pragathi Bhavan KCR's attack on Modi only showed his desperation and worried he was about his and his party, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi's future, Subhash said in a statement.
After a successful public meeting of Modi, KCR gauging public mood "has been making baseless and unprovoked attacks on the BJP at the Centre to cover up Telangana government's failures".
Subhash alleged that KCR is attacking Modi after realising that people of the state are "determined to dethrone the corrupt and family-ruled TRS government".
People are fed up with the TRS government and looking at BJP for an alternative, Subhash said.
"Once a revenue-surplus state, Telangana is now debt-ridden due to the wrong policies of KCR who only claims to be a good administrator," Subhash said, adding that the state financial position is such that government employees have been agitating as they are not getting monthly salaries on time.
The financial situation of the state is in a disarray due to mismanagement of the economic crisis, he said.
KCR should have utilised those two hours of his press conference for discussion and taking actions to lift citizens out of misery who are affected by heavy rains that have lashed the state.
Subhash said KCR has not achieved anything in his rule of eight years. "His only achievement is luring legislators of other parties into his TRS," Subhash said.
