Kiran Bedi takes oath as Lt. Governor of Puducherry

Puducherry, May 29 (IBNS) Former top cop- turned - politician Kiran Bedi on Sunday took oath as the Lt. Governor of Puducherry.

The official Twitter page of the Lt. Gov. Puducherry  said: "Dr. Kiran Bedi being sworn in as the Lt. Gov. of Puducherry."

Bedi entered the arena of politics few years ago.

She was the BJP's CM candidate during the Delhi polls.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his AAP won the polls to come to power for the second term.
