Kolkata, Feb 4 (IBNS): The Test Identification (TI) Parade of Sambia Sohrab and his friends Sanu and Johny, who were earlier nabbed in connection with the Red Road hit-and- run case and are in judicial custody till Feb 11, was conducted on Thursday in Kolkata's Presidency Jail in presence of a Magistrate, sources said.
According to police sources, as many as 14 policemen, who were handling traffic at Red Road that day, and two Indian Air Force (IAF) officials took part in the TI Parade where it has been confirmed that Sambia Sohrab was driving the killer Audi car.

Sanu and Johny were in a different Skoda car, which did not enter into the restricted zone, where the incident took place, witnesses confirmed during the TI Parade.

Ahead of the Republic Day, a speeding Audi Q-7 car, which was registered in the name of a company- Mussadi Business Pvt Ltd- owned by former RJD MLA and presently TMC leader Md. Sohrab's elder son Ambia Sohrab, allegedly broke police barricades at Red Road and hit Indian Air Force (IAF) corporal Abhimanyu Gaud on Jan 13 early morning. The airman, a 21-year-old Air Force drill instructor was killed in the incident.

Days after the incident, Sambia Sohrab, who was allegedly driving the car that time, and his friends Sanu and Johny, who were reportedly with him that day, were arrested from different locations, while former RJD lawmaker Md. Sohrab and his elder son Ambia Sohrab are still absconding.
