Kolkata: Woman who took part in indefinite dharna against CAA dies

Kolkata/UNI: A 57-year-old woman died of cardiac arrest on Sunday in the city's Park Circus Maidan, which has been witnessing protest against the CAA, NRC and NPR.

The deceased, named Sameeda Khatun, was part of the protest movement, which has been continuing for the past around a month.

The deceased hailing from Entally area in the city had been actively taking part in the protests.

Khatun, who was suffering from chronic asthma, is survived by husband and eight children.
