Lady army officer commits suicide in Jammu
Jammu, Dec 16 (IBNS): A lady officer of the Indian Army allegedly committed suicide in Jammu by shooting herself with a pistol on late Thursday night, sources said.
The police identified the officer as Major Anita Kumari, 36, of Chamba in Himachal Pradesh.
She was posted at Bari Barhmna, 259 field supply depot.
The police said that the matter is under investigation to find out what prompted her to take such an extreme step.
