Lockdown to continue in Jharkhand for upcoming 2 weeks, no relaxation: Hemant Soren

| @indiablooms | May 03, 2020, at 07:11 pm

Ranchi/UNI: In a major decision, the state government today announced that lockdown will continue in Jharkhand for the next two weeks.

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that as part of precautionary measures all the provisions of the lockdown will be implemented with strictness in the state.

He clearly said relaxations mentioned in the MHA guidelines for the third phase of lockdown would not be implemented in Jharkhand.

He said that since the workers and students trapped in other states are now returning it is important that provisions of lockdown remain effectively placed in Jharkhand for the safety of the people.
