Maharashtra Home Minister says Kangana has no right to stay in Mumbai after her 'PoK' remark
New Delhi/IBNS: Actress Kangana Ranaut has triggered a new controversy by stating that Mumbai is "feeling like Pakistan-occupied Kashmir" and compared the ruling coalition in Maharashtra to "Taliban".
"Sanjay Raut Shiv Sena leader has given me an open threat and asked me not to come back to Mumbai, after Aazadi graffitis in Mumbai streets and now open threats, why Mumbai is feeling like Pakistan occupied Kashmir?" she said in a tweet.

Reacting to the same, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said on Friday said that the 'Queen' actress has no right to stay in Mumbai if she feels unsafe.
"We have seen how the Mumbai Police sacrificed their lives during the coronavirus pandemic. It's not right for an actor to say such things about our police, we condemn it. Mumbai and Maharashtra are secured by the police. If anyone feels unsafe about living in Mumbai or Maharashtra, they don't have the right to live here," Deshmukh said.
Kangana, currently living in Himachal Pradesh, said she will return to Mumbai on Sept 9 and challenged those "threatening her" to stop her if they can.
"I see many people are threatening me to not come back to Mumbai so I have now decided to travel to Mumbai this coming week on 9th September, I will post the time when I land at the Mumbai airport, kisi ke baap mein himmat hai toh rok le."

Kangana has no right to stay in Mumbai, we will make sure she can’t enter Mumbai, we will beat her to death with stones and rods just how we lynched Palghar Sadhus. How you promoted yourself from POK to Taliban just in one day is commendable 👌 https://t.co/Cl7q8p1e3V

An open supporter of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Kangana had been severley attacking the Maharashtra government and the Mumbai Police for weeks over the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput in June.
A day after Sushant Singh Rajput's death, Kangana had released a video where she alleged that the 'Chhichhore' actor took the drastic step being a victim of nepotism and favouritism prevailing in the Bollywood film industry.
