Maharashtra: Two women die, 5 injured as autorickshaw overturns in Nanded

Nanded/UNI:  Two women died and five others were seriously injured after an autorickshaw they were travelling in overturned near Shree Renuka Devi temple at Mahur, on Sunday.

Seven passengers were proceeding to Pota in Himatnagar tehsil of the district after a programme at the temple in autorickshaw this morning, when it turned turtle in the Ghat section near Neelkanteshwar temple, causing serious injuries to all the passengers.

Of them, Saraswati Subhash Mane (50) and Indu Kisan Mane (50) succumbed to injuries before being admitted in a hospital.

While, injured Sumitra Anandrao Suryawanshi (45), Shobha Digambar Suryawanshi (50), Ashabai Uttamrao Mane (35), Prayagbai Narayan Wallegaonkar (25) and Dhanashree Santosh Walgaonkar (1) have been admitted to the civil hospital in Nanded.

The Mahur police have filed a case of accidental death in this regard.
