Kolkata, Jun 22 (IBNS): An aged man reportedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a Dumdum- bound metro rail at Sovabazar Sutanuti station in north Kolkata at around 11:10 am. on Wednesday.

Due to the incident, metro services have been partly disrupted at office peak hours.

The identity of the man has not been known so far. His body is still on the track and Kolkata Metro personnel are trying to recover it.

"After recovering his body and clearing the track, normal service will be resumed again," an official of the Kolkata Metro  told IBNS.
