Man shot dead in Kashmir

Srinagar, Dec 25 (IBNS): Unidentified gunmen shot dead a man in Jammu and Kashmir’s Sopore town on Sunday evening, police said.

40-year- old man was shot dead by unidentified gunmen on Sunday outside his house in Bahrampora village of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

According to reports, the gunmen fired at Nazir Ahmad Mir, 40,  outside his home in Bahrampora, leaving him in a pool of blood and suffered a head injury..

Mir, they said, was shifted to Sopore hospital where from he was referred to SMHS hospital in Srinagar.

However, he was declared dead on arrival at the SMHS hospital.
