Manik Sarkar wins from Tripura's Dhanpur constituency
Agartala, Mar 3 (IBNS): Tripura's outgoing Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has won from Dhanpur constituency by a margin of 5441 votes, media reports said.
The vote counting was halted for four hours after the BJP workers had demanded a re-counting.
The BJP has ended the 25-year long Left rule in Tripura as the poll results came out on Saturday.
The BJP has secured 43 seats in contrary to Left's 16 seats.
