Manipur: Assam Rifles recover contraband items
Imphal: Maram Battalion of Jwalamukhi Sector Assam Rifles, Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) recovered 24.75 tonnes of Betel Nuts (Supari) while a Check Post was established at general area Choungoubung on Sunday night to search the vehicles.
A Tata truck and a Maruti van were found to be carrying 24.75 tonnes of Betel Nuts (Supari) worth Rs 30 lakh.
