Minor girl charred alive, 3 others injured in gas cylinder blast in AP village
Kakinada/IBNS/UNI: One minor girl was charred alive and three others injured in a cooking gas cylinder blast in Vakathippa village of Uppada Kothapalli mandal in Andhra Pradesh here on Thursday, police said.
It is stated that the explosion took place at village sarpanch Mamidi Mallibabu’s house and of the three injured, the condition of one is stated to be serious.
The injured were first taken to Pithapuram government hospital and from there shifted to GGH Kakinada for better medical care.
The police who registered a case identified the deceased as Chetipuvvu Sravani (14).
The U. Kothapalli police are investigating the case under the supervision of Pithapuram circle Inspector YRK Srinivas, police said.
